Barely 10 feet at best. The range is as good as any,I get a solid 2 blocks with no problem in the city. The review is bogus,the price is $69.95 not $99.95 and it does have a volume control on the side of the unit.It also has a LED light to set the audio level with. Also not mentioned is the auto off timer that shuts it off after a preset time to save batteries. I bought it as a replacement for a stolen Dynex (Best Buy)transmitter that was absolutely wonderful in terms of portability, ease of use, and range, however, the Dynex is sadly no longer available.<BR/>The C. I was lucky to get 10 feet with it and when I went a little further the sound quality was very bad.
