I've owned this unit for about 4mo's, and have taken good care of it. It's was great until the contacts for the cig lighter started failing, now the sound is so interrupted that it's not enjoyable. I've used it in different cars, and no dice, it's toast. So, $30 for 4mo's, you decide.
Works pretty well when plugged in before turning on the car. Useful how it uses batteries OR car adapter. Extra 5 bucks for 1 year warranty can shut up the geniuses complaining that the contacts wear out after four months.
I purchased the Accurian Fm Transmitter from the time I open the box plug it into the car's lighter socket the unit give me a readout quick I pluged in my MP# player set the radio and it played great the sound was great and the connection we good, as well. I like the unit it works well here in New York City with all the tall building too.
