I've used this transmitter for over a year. It's great. After having a very disappointing experience with the iTrip and having read many online warnings saying "there are no good-sounding FM transmitters," I got in a friend's car and was shocked to realize we were listening to his iPod through an iCarPlay. It sounded great. I went out and got one right away. The sound quality is (to my ears) as good as any of the FM stations I listen to regularly. That was DEFINITELY not the case with the iTrip. My only complaint is that I have a hard time reading the LEDs in daylight. Also, I"ve used this in a variety of cities and I've never NOT been able to find a usable frequency. It's actually powerful enough to overpower some stations that are broadcasting on the same frequency - although not all. It will begin to get an interference buzz as I approach a city with a strong station on the frequency in use. But I've almost always been able to switch to my other standard freq and it's clear. The two freqs I've had the most success with are 94.1 and 107.9.
